I don’t know about you, but these next two weekends are going to be full of fun, fun, fun. Here are a few ideas for you! I’ll keep adding more as I hear about them.

Fall farms

  • Looking for awesome treats, pumpkin picking, and fun? Head to All Seasons Orchard in Woodstock. We loved it so much, we have visited twice this season already. And picked up a dozen apple cider donuts. Yes. Read both reviews here and here.

Family fun at All Seasons Orchard includes more than apples. They have pumpkin and pear picking too, along with fun activities and delicious treats.

  • Last week we visited Stade’s Farm in McHenry during their Shades of Autumn Festival. Another great time with a wagon out to the pumpkin patch along with tons and tons of activities. Read the review here. Psst. Fridays are discounted!

Autumn Festival at Stades Farm in McHenry

  • This week we plan on cashing in on the nice weather and visiting Richardson’s Adventure Farm. They have the world’s largest corn maze (Cubs themed!) and more fun activities. Stay tuned for a review.

Halloween Happenings

  • Boo at the Zoo! at Brookfield Zoo is happening this weekend and next. It’s become our annual tradition and we’re really excited. Read more about this year’s event here.

More fun

Chicago Parent’s Fall Playdate in Naperville is this weekend! They’ll have entertainment, games, and tons of fun! Plus, I’ll bet you’ll walk away with a few goodies. Interested in winning tickets? Go ahead and leave a comment for a chance to win free tickets!
